About Spencers Solicitors

Before you make your accident compensation claim you should know that we are professional accident claim solicitors. We're not a claims company that farms your case out to other solicitors. When you talk to us, you'll be talking to the people that will handle your accident claim; the people who will take responsibility for gaining you the accident compensation you're entitled to.

Enquire Online for no obligation advice on making a claim.

You won’t encounter impersonal call-centre scripts when you deal with us. When you call for the first time you'll talk to a friendly, trained and supportive professional who has the time and desire to listen. There's no rush, we want you to take as long as you need to tell us what has happened. Once you've done that we'll consider your needs and assign an individual accident claim lawyer to your case and they'll have particular knowledge and experience of your type of accident or injury.

How do we handle a claim?

Successful accident compensation claims start the moment we've established that you will be able to make a claim. When you first contact us about your accident claim we will quickly determine whether you can make a claim.

  • Establishing the facts
We will need to know about your injury in as much detail as possible and what, if any, diagnosis or treatment you have received. We'll need you to give us relevant dates, times and circumstances. If there were witnesses, that can be a real help in making your claim and, if you have them, photographs may be useful. Just tell us as much as you can and we'll do all we can to help you fill any gaps. As things move along it's also important to keep any receipts and invoices relating to losses and expenses resulting from what happened.
  • Paying for your claim
If you are entitled to make an accident claim we'll work on a no win no fee basis. In essence that means that when we win your costs and our fees will be claimed from your opponent. And, when your claim is settled and you receive your accident compensation you will keep all of it.
  • What about the costs if you don't win?
We're very experienced accident claim solicitors and it is rare for us not to win. If we don't win you don't pay our fees. It may also be possible to protect you from costs from the other side if things don't turn out as we plan by using an insurance policy and we can explore that option with you.
  • Your recovery
A well-prepared accident claim will lead to accident injury compensation that will cover the medical care and treatment you may need. That may be short-term treatment, or long-term treatment involving medical specialists and support services.
  • Financial stability
A claim for loss of earnings often forms part of accident compensation claims. If you are off work while you get better you still have to pay the bills, but that's not always easy if there's no money coming in or that income is reduced. We'll make sure your accident claim includes maintaining financial stability.

No Win No Fee Solicitors

No Win No Fee

No win no fee claim in a nutshell... No win no fee claim means just what it says: if we don't win your personal injury claim or accident compensation claim case we won't ask you to pay for our work.

Back Injury Compensation

While we deal with many back injury claims that involve severe and complex injury, as many or more back injury compensation claims centre around slipped discs, cracked vertebrae, muscle damage and similar injuries.

We're a leading, innovative, accident solicitors practice. We're experienced accident lawyers who look after our clients and secure comprehensive accident compensation for them. We deal with no win no fee accident claims and when we win your case we won't take any of your accident compensation from you: you get 100% of your compensation, as you should.

Some accident claims companies display grand sums of money implying what level of accident compensation you may get if you make an accident claim with them. You won't find exaggerated figures on our site. That's not to say that we don't achieve large accident compensation awards for our clients - far from it.

Compared to others we regularly secure maximum accident compensation, involving significant sums, for our clients. We do that by knowing our business and covering everything you are entitled to claim for within your individual accident compensation claim. That's why we don't flash up suggestive and potentially misleading accident compensation figures: we're not dealing with a generality, a "what if" or a "maybe"; we're dealing with you and your specific, individual accident claim.

We don't need to impress you by showing you "what ifs", we'll impress and satisfy you by securing the maximum accident compensation award we can.

Our Director John Spencer is also a prominent advocate for claimant rights and believes that wholesale reform to the personal injury marketplace is needed to ensure transparency, access to justice and the protection of accident victims. John writes regularly about these issues on his Blog.
