Rob is Managing Director of Spencers, and as such is responsible for providing effective leadership of the business, overseeing and determining business strategy whilst ensuring optimisation of day to day operations. Prior to being the firm's Managing Director, Rob held the position of CFO, and still retains direct oversight of all finance elements of the firm including financial planning, reporting and risk management. Throughout his tenure with Spencers he has implemented a number of financial strategies that have allowed the Spencers Solicitors team the freedom to pursue a specialisation into new work types, including the most serious personal injury cases. Robert began his career in 1998 as an Accounts Assistant at Vesuvius UK Limited. Within just two years Robert rose to the position of Management Accountant, subsequently joining Spencers in 2005.

John is one of the UK's leading personal injury solicitors with over 30 years’ experience. He is a past president and Senior Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a former chair of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society, and a former Executive Committee member of the Civil Justice Council. As well as being recognised as a Law Society PI Panel Member, John is general editor of the Journal of Personal Injury Law. John has received various accolades throughout his career, including two Outstanding Achievement Awards presented to him at the Eclipse Awards in 2012 and Modern Claims Awards in 2015. Kelly joined the business as an Office Junior in 1996 and subsequently developed into a fee earning role. From there, she progressed to become a supervisor of an operational team before changing direction within the practice to focus on a strong interest in Human Resources, culminating in her appointment as HR Manager in 2009. Kelly is an experienced and CIPD qualified Human Resources (HR) Manager with extensive generalist and operational HR expertise, which is further supplemented by over 20 years with the business. Kelly finds her role incredibly rewarding and is passionate about delivering a diverse range of HR solutions both internally and to external business clients.

Amy, who qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2001 and as a Solicitor in 2007, has more than 20 years experience in civil litigation. Having joined the business as a file handler in 2000, Amy has developed a strong specialism in personal injury litigation built on practical experience of both file handling and management. Amy became a Team Manager in 2008, and has managed and developed a team of litigators dealing with motor personal injury, Employers Liability, Public Liability and Criminal Injury claims. Amy now manages the Complex Injury Team which deals with serious and major injuries, including traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, fatal claims and clinical negligence. Amy also has a background in Wills & Probate work and oversees Spencers’ provision of these services.
Jane is a Solicitor and Manager with more than 20 years experience dealing with personal injury claims for victims of accidents at work, on the roads and in public places. During her extensive years of experience, Jane has also acted for clients suffering from industrial disease and on behalf of clients affected by clinical negligence. Jane has a proven track record in management and leadership, having managed teams for over 12 years, and has a huge amount of experience in devising and delivering training in addition to implementing processes to achieve proactive, high quality and client focused claims management.
Janet is a team manager with more than 30 years experience in the claims industry covering both insurance and legal services. She has extensive experience within the personal injury area and is passionate about working in a challenging and ever changing environment. Janet has proven success in leadership and reform of various team formations, and has been at the forefront of wide-ranging business operational restructures and process changes, resulting in optimal working practices and efficient case handling.
Jessica, who joined the business in 2004, is an associate member of Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Since joining the business, Jessica has developed an extensive specialism in personal injury litigation and case management. Jessica, who became a manager in 2008, is passionate about training, developing and supporting staff, managing protocols and implementing processes whilst simultaneously maintaining and developing relationships with clients and intermediaries.
