Claimant Personal Injury Litigator (Complex Injury)

We have vacancies for Claimant PI Litigators to work in our Complex injury team in our Chesterfield office. Successful applicants will manage a caseload of complex/high value personal injury cases including those of the up most severity. These cases may have arisen from road accidents, work accidents or accidents which occur in a public place.

This position would be suitable for an individual with widespread experience in the area of complex injury, who thrives on the challenge and responsibility of representing seriously injured clients who require a high level of support and legal advice.

Applicants should demonstrate:

• The ability to provide an excellent standard of client care, together with exceptional technical legal advice on all aspects of liability/injury litigation;
• Exceptional level of case management skills;
• IT literacy commensurate with the role;
• Established record of achieving against financial and other KPI targets;
• Proven track record of effectively handling multi-track personal injury cases including those with a value in excess of £250,000.00

Software Developer

Spencers Solicitors are looking for a Software Developer to join our IT team in our Chesterfield office. Successful applicants will design, develop and maintain a variety of legal systems using technologies such as Classic ASP/ASP.NET, Visual Basic/VB.NET and our bespoke SQL case management system. This position would be suitable for an individual with experience in programming languages and delivering database driven solutions.

Applicants should be highly motivated to deliver efficient, robust and user friendly IT solutions contributing to us providing the best possible Legal service to our clients.

• Excellent programming skills and software development methodology;
• Proficiently in HTML, CSS and web scripting/query languages;
