Spencers Solicitors announced today that the Derbyshire based law firm has successfully retained its ISO 9001 certification – an internationally recognised benchmark for high quality management standards.
The ISO 9001 qualification is audited by NQA, who investigate a company's processes to confirm that client satisfaction and procedural improvements are always at the forefront of the management's agenda.
Spencers Solicitors received its first ISO 9001 qualification in 1995. Since then, changes have been made to the audit such as an examination into the company's information systems. Moving with the times, Spencers Solicitors have successfully adhered to the all the latest ISO 9001 criteria set out in 2008.
A direct quote from the NQA assessment report reads:
"The controls in place for dealing with client requirements were found to be robust and in accordance with legal and other requirements (e.g. Solicitors Regulation Authority), with records being suitably maintained to ensure confidentiality in the matters. The company has a positive culture with regard to continual improvement that was evident at all levels. The assessor has no hesitation in recommending continued registration ISO 9001: 2008."
Martyn Gilbert, Spencers Solicitors Chief Information Officer, announced:
"Maintaining our ISO 9001 certification for over 17 years reflects our quality-focussed mindset and commitment to excellence, which is evident amongst all staff here at Spencers Solicitors. This certification is testament to the professional approach we apply to all our activities, right through from office administration to case handling and client care."
