Lexcel
Lexcel is an internationally recognised accreditation awarded by the Law Society to certify that exemplary standards have been met within a legal firm.
The award underpins our commitment to uphold the highest standards of excellence in client care and case management. We have held Lexcel accreditation since January 2013.
APIL
The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) has been fighting for the rights of injured people for well over 20 years.
APIL Accreditation is a recognised standard in the field of personal injury and to achieve it firms must demonstrate commitment to provide only the highest standards of client care. Our team includes numerous APIL accredited litigators and have been an APIL Accredited Practice since 2013.
East Midlands Chamber
The East Midlands Chamber is a non-profit, leading business organisation representing and serving 3800 members and more than 3000 affiliates.
We are proud to have been members of the East Midlands Chamber since January 2019.
Motor Accident Solicitors Society
The Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS) is a non-profit organisation that promotes the highest standards of legal advice in the pursuit of justice for victims of road traffic accidents.
Spencers Solicitors were a founder member of MASS when it formed in 1991 and our Director, John Spencer is a past Chairman of the organisation.
CILEx Employer of the Year - Commended
The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) is a professional body representing over 20,000 Chartered Legal Executives in the UK.
Spencers Solicitors were commended in the CILEx award category of 'Employer of the Year' at their annual graduation ceremony held 7 April 2014 at King's House in Bedford.
Law Society Excellence Award Finalist
We were finalists in the 2014 Law Society Excellence Awards under the category of Excellence in Practice Management.
The category was open to law firms who had achieved accredited status as part of the Law Society's practice management standard for demonstrating the highest standard of client care, legal case handling and risk management.
Disability Confident Employer
The Disability Confident Employer certification supports our commitment to promoting disability awareness and our standing as an equal opportunities employer.
Spencers originally attained the Disability Symbol, previously known as 'two-ticks' in December 2012 and subsequently migrated onto the new Disability Confident Scheme in September 2016.
Outstanding Achievement of the Year
John Spencer was given the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2015 Modern Claims Awards.
The awards attracted more than 400 professionals from the insurance, legal and claims management sectors and was established to celebrate talent and success across the industry.
Personal Injury Awards - Winner
John Spencer, Director of Spencers Solicitors, won the award for Outstanding Achievement at the Personal Injury Awards in November 2012.
Dr Harry Brünjes, Chair of the Judging Panel said that John had campaigned tirelessly on behalf of injured persons seeking justice.
