Spencers Solicitors Supports SIA at the Parliamentary Group on Spinal Injuries

On Wednesday 28th November 2012 the next meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Spinal Cord Injury takes place in the House of Lords, and Spencers Solicitors Chief Operating Officer Allison O'Reilly will be in attendance.

The meeting is to look at specific issues being faced by Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) people particularly relating to medical treatment, care, support and developments in treatments.  Along with social care and wider issues that affects the lives of SCI people.

The meeting will hear from Dr Brett Smith from Loughborough University who will present on a research report carried out by ASPIRE on 'Understanding the health and wellbeing of Spinal Cord Injured People in care homes'. This is a critical issue facing spinal cord injured people and the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) hopes that MPs will be in attendance to show their support.

Allison O'Reilly, Solicitor and Spencers' Chief Operating Officer commented:

"We deal with clients that have been impacted by spinal injuries everyday and our attendance tomorrow is just one of the ways we want to help support the invaluable work that the Spinal Injuries Association does for SCI individuals and their families."
