Spencers Solicitors has appointed Emma Melia née Hodson as a senior solicitor to lead a major injury team.
Emma joins Spencers to continue representing catastrophically injured people. One of the largest damages awards Emma has achieved was for over £2.8 million for a police officer serving in the North West Regional Crime Squad in Donachie v Greater Manchester Police ([2004] EWCA Civ 405).
Emma will run a range of maximum severity cases within the complex injury department at Spencers Solicitors.

Emma's role will commence on 1 July 2013.
