Chesterfield FC Community stand sponsors Spencers Solicitors have made a donation to the Community Trust to purchase uniforms for staff in the recently opened Hub facility.
The Hub within the Spencers Solicitors Community Stand opened in September and hosts an impressive array of facilities including:
- • A hydrotherapy rehabilitation pool
- • Children's soft play area
- • Gymnasium
- • Café
- • Meeting and conference facilities
Part funded from a grant by the English Premier League, the innovative facility has been well received by both Chesterfield FC fans and the wider public and is a hive of activity throughout the week as well as on match days.
Chesterfield FC Community Trust which operates and oversees the Hub is a registered charity that works closely with the club to promote sports participation, social inclusion and education.
Spencers Chief Executive Robert Landman (pictured below) commented on the donation:
"We are delighted to be able to provide the staff within the hub with smart, professional uniform to complement the excellent work that they carry out within the local community"
