Chesterfield has a strong industrial past, based around rich coal reserves, a diverse range of manufacturing industries and a long and established connection with heavy industries. This is a major part of the town’s history, and the resurgent ‘Golden age’ of industrial development, with huge businesses becoming significant employers in the town in the 1980s and 1990s, has been replaced in recent years by smaller employers in lighter industries and scattered through the town on new trading estates.
Historically, our personal injury team at Spencers Solicitors have forged close links with the thousands of local people employed in the industrial sector, successfully representing many workers who were seeking compensation for accident at work claims. And these skills have now been transferred to helping people experiencing accidents in the modern, lighter industries that now exist.
Spencers Solicitors are very proud of these close links to the working community, as we have strong beliefs that everybody should have access to justice. One of the most frequent legal requirements in the industrial sector is pursuing claims for personal injury and accidents at work.
Our policy at Spencers has always been to play a central role among our community, and hence we have become established as a vital resource and a reliable contact when seeking legal advice and representation.
Some of the proud industrial businesses our personal injury team have had close ties with in the past include:
We believe that our experience in dealing with accident at work claims is still valuable today and these trusted skills are transferrable to modern cases of industrial accidents. Even though many of the businesses we have past associations with have either downsized, changed their name or gone out of business altogether, we are proud of our long association and close links to the local Chesterfield community now working in light industry, so you can rely on Spencers Solicitors as your go-to resource for pursuing an accident at work claim.
