Chesterfield FC Community Stand sponsor, Spencers Solicitors have donated their ticket allocation for the forthcoming Chesterfield v AFC Wimbledon match to Ashgate Hospice enabling a group of patients and their families to attend the match.
Emily Evans, Fundraising Manager at Ashgate Hospice commented:
"We are very grateful for the continued support from Spencers and are delighted that some of our patients will be able to attend the Chesterfield match and this will provide them with a much deserved break"
The hospice provides specialist palliative care at their facilities in Old Brampton and within the wider community. Please visit the Ashgate Hospice website and watch the below video to learn more about the invaluable work they do.
Commenting further on the donation Robert Landman, Chief Financial Officer at Spencer Solicitors added:
"From the outset of our sponsorship of the Community Stand, we have sought to be a true partner to both the club and the local community rather than simply a name on a stand. Allowing organisations such as Ashgate Hospice to use our ticket allocation is just one small way we can support them and the fantastic work they do for local people."
Dunston based Spencers Solicitors are continuing to forge close links with the Chesterfield Community Trust who will be based within the Community Stand, and remain keen to be involved in future local initiatives based around the trust's key aims of health, education, inclusion and sports participation.
The impressive facilities within the Community Stand are due to fully open later this month and promise to add real value to the local community.
